This website uses only strictly-necessary, first-party storage to make the site work and to remember your own settings. For reach measurement we use a cookieless, self-hosted analytics tool that stores nothing on your device; you can switch it off at any time. We do not use third-party tracking, and marketing technologies would only ever run after you opt in.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookie-consent | localStorage | Stores your cookie choice so we can honour it | up to 6 months |
theme | localStorage | Remembers your light/dark preference | until you change it |
NEXT_LOCALE | cookie | Remembers your chosen language | up to 1 year |
umami.disabled | localStorage | Set only when you opt out of analytics — it enforces your opt-out | until you clear it |
These are all technically necessary or functional: they hold only your own settings and never track you.
We measure aggregate site usage with a self-hosted Umami instance on our own server. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address is used only transiently to form a non-reversible, regularly rotating visitor hash and to derive a coarse location (country/region); it is never stored, and no data reaches third parties.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used). § 25 TDDDG does not apply because nothing is stored on or read from your device. You can opt out at any time via the Analytics toggle in Cookie settings; the opt-out takes effect immediately.
Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time to review, change, or withdraw your choice. Your choice is remembered for up to six months, after which we ask again.
Strictly-necessary and functional storage relies on § 25 (2) TDDDG; no consent is required for it. Cookieless reach measurement relies on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR with an opt-out (see above). Any consent-based category would be used only on the basis of your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Here you can specify which cookies you allow for each category.
